Sourav Ganguly to be included in Street Fighter Game’s next version.

To lure the avid Indian game players, here comes a news that will excite one and all. Current Pune Warriors India, which is a cricket team in the cricket-based reality show Indian Premier League, captain Sourav Ganguly will feature as one of the Warriors in the cult hit game – Street Fighter.

Yakoshi SaalaMota, the head of CAPCOM games, confirmed the news- ‘Yes this is absolutely true. We wanted to introduce a new fighter in our game which was to be based on a real life person and we zeroed upon Ganguly. His never-say-die attitude, speed of running while excited, his ability to leap in the air in slo-mo, his aggression and his funky hair style is exactly what the gamers at the studio wanted. To be very frank, we hardly had to do any remodeling’

Ganguly will feature in the upcoming version of Street Fighter – Street Fighter: Vengeance of Benga-Lee, with a character name as Gangu –Lee. He will be the main Street Fighter character who will fight the fighters of the Evil Lord – Guru Greg.

A test trial has already been conducted and the Japanese audience has apparently gone mad playing this new character.

Jalona Diyabaati, a champion gamer, reports,’ The new character Gangu-Lee is just out of this world. He has a new power of Speed Run, which makes him run at a super fast speed once he kicks the opponent’s ass. He can attack any opposition in a unique slow motion mode which confuses the opponent. He has been given the most number of lives and even if his power decreases to 0, he can throw ultrasonic sound waves called ‘Bhoole to Nahi’ And the best part is he takes off his shirt once the opponent is KOed – a slang used for Knocked Out. Gangu –Lee has made Street Fighter a sought after game this season for sure.’

Now, all we can do is wait and watch, once the game hits the shores.
